File search

Every file, milliseconds away

No dependence on Spotlight's coverage or timing. Lattice pairs a self-built SQLite index with an FTS5 trigram index for substring queries, and FSEvents for live updates — 0–20ms across 5.5M files on a real machine, with no rescan on restart.

Ask AI is more than Q&A. The model runs up to 8 rounds of tool calls, each through the unified ToolRegistry — reads pass through, writes prompt for approval, destructive always confirms.
